AZ Plate Helps Homeless Women Vets

You wouldn’t think it, but the statistics are staggering.

Women veterans are 4 times more likely to become homeless than their male veteran counterparts and non-veteran women. ~American Journal of Public Health

They’re not your typical homeless person. Their needs are different. Besides PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), most also suffered sexual harassment, if not abuse and many of them are moms, some single parents. The VA has had to make major adjustments to help these women.

Your family wants the person back that they sent off to war. They’ll never get that person back.

You can help female Veterans of Arizona by purchasing the new Women Veterans license plate. It’s available to anyone and can be personalized (maximum of 6 characters).

$25 initial application fee/ $25 annual renewal. $17 goes to a special account in the Arizona Veterans’ Donation Fund to assist homeless women veterans. Please call us at Prompt Titles & Registrations so we can order your plate. 602-957-0450. ($5 convenience fee applies – void with a Military ID.)
